Patterns & Kits!
Scarlet Fleece patterns
are an exercise in color-play. The objective is to design patterns
to highlight and celebrate hand painted yarn. There are many
techniques featured such as slip stitching, Fair Isle, bobbles and
lace. Packaged kits are available for any pattern.
Grassy Wool Stole
The perfect little stole is simple elegance for
a cool summer evening-and fun to knit with Grassy Wool-a new bamboo and
washable merino blend. Just two 420 yard skeins complete this wrap. Shown
here is the new colorwash-Miss Peacock. Designed by Dee Smith.

French Faux Lace Socks
Paula Levy has reworked a Barbara
Walker stitch pattern so that it is arranged in columns instead of on a
diagonal offset that looks like lace when it is stretched. When this
stitch pattern is combined with the bamboo blend of Grassy Wool , you
have an open lacy sock that is cooler to wear in warmer temperatures.
Indulge your tootsies -only 1 skein required, shown here in "Favorite
Jeans".

Kid Color Cabled Cuffs
If you are looking for a quick project for a
gift or accessory for yourself-and with the bonus of using only 1 skein-here
is your project. These cuffs are perfect for cooling days and to add a

Easy Fair Isle Hat
with Mittens
Complete this entire project with just 2 skeins. A great teaching
tool for knitters new to Fair Isle and knitting in the round. (Shown

A smart cropped sweater with Intarsia diamonds

Petal & Leaf Cropped Kimono
This expressive little cropped sweater features
a new concept-the marriage of knitting and needle felting. This patterns
includes a templet for the whimsical flower and leaf design. Use our Wool
Paint to create the color palette of your choosing. The sweater is knitted
with only 5-6 skeins of Kid Colors shown here in Log Cabin. The pattern
sizes range from 32 inches to 42 inches chest size. Designed by Cheryl

Field of Poppies Cap
Use 1 skein in each colorway to complete this project. In fact, you
could complete another hat if you reverse the colorways. Use this
pattern to teach slip stitch to your knitting students! (Shown in

Simply Socks
1 Skein completes a pair of socks. This pattern is written with the
beginning sock knitter in mind.

Painted Pullover Vest
Fun to wear as it is to knit, this vest has nice stitch detail that

Uno Cabled Crew
Our first pullover designed for the guy in your
life. Shown here in the Lapis Woodland colorway-this pullover features an
off center cable panel, ragland sleeves and a simple crew neck opening. This
was designed with simplicity and a dash of edginess in mind. Wear this comfy
pullover with no fear-Painted Merino is washable-pattern requires 9-10
skeins written for 4 sizes ranging from small to extra-large on size 5

Painted Ladder Scarf & Fingerless Gloves
A quick project that promotes color play. Have fun combining your 2 favorite
colorways or colorwashes in this fun to knit project that uses 3 different
pattern stitches. Two skeins of each color completes both the scarf and the

Career Cabled Cardi
This is just the jacket to have on hand to wear to the office or to a weekend
getaway.Exagerated cables flow on either side of the jacket opening on a
reverse stockinette stitch background. The jacket, with
gentle shaping , looks smart over jeans or a skirt. Requires only 6-7 hanks of

If you are looking for a quick one skein project for yourself or a gift-this is

Bobble Edged Jacket
A fitted jacket with slim belled sleeves knitted using a mesh rib
stitch that contours the figure. Add a bobbled edge and you have a

Beaded Cabled Cuffs & Circular Shawl
Country Lace Shawl
This is a shawl that can be used to dress up a
cocktail dress or equally wonderful over a pair of jeans. The lace stitch is
elegant in it's simplicity and it's nature shows off a hand painted yarn
beautifully. (Knitted in "I See Red!" colorway.) Requires only 6 skeins of
Silk and Ivory silk and merino yarn.

Wavey Eyelet Scarf
Here is another "pocket
pattern" that is available at no charge with the purchase of Silk
and Ivory. This lace patterned scarf gently waves down from your
shoulder as it is worn. It shows off wonderful hand paints such as
the coloway "Easter Basket" shown here. Fugally uses just 1 skein.

Set
Using only 2
skeins of our washable "It's Tubular x2" sock yarn, this charming little
sweater, hat and socks will not only be comfy on a little one-it will
look great as well. And this set is easy to knit up with minimal
shaping, perfect for an advanced beginner to knit to celebrate a new
family member. Sized for newborn to 12 months, shown here in "Popsicle"
colorway.


Dragon-Scales Socks
Who
wouldn't like to wear dragon scales on their feet? Fun to knit just
requiring 1 skein, these socks are as fun to knit as to wear. Using
the decorative baby cable rib pattern for the cuffs and heels and
the dragon scales stitch for the cuff and upper foot. You'll enjoy

Bamboo Stitch Cap and Shoulder Cozy (appearing in ad in 2009 spring issue of
Interweave Knits.)
A shoulder cozy is a practical garment that takes the chill off just where you
need it. Unlike a scarf, it is mitered to sit comfortably on your shoulders with
just a shawl pin to hold it in place, hands free. Add more style with the
matching cap. Both are knitted using the rarely seen bamboo stitch and requires
only 3 skeins for the pair. Shown in "Under the Sea" colorway. Designed by Kathy

Tree & Sky Lace Stole
A one skein project, this stole is knitted in 2 identical pieces and
grafted at the center. A good advance beginner lace pattern using 2

monsters that share hugs with you and each other. The perfect
accessory for a child's bed or college student's dorm room. Choose
to make your monsters in Painted Merino or Scarlet Green, Kid
Colors, or Impressions. The yarn choice dictates the size of your
monsters. Designed by Rebecca Danger of Danger Crafts using the
"magic loop" technique with very clear instructional photographs.
Each kit contains all you need except stuffing-including yarn, eyes,
felt for mouths, even yarn for belly buttons packaged in a zipped
